children's ministries
We partner with families to nurture their children and to help children know and worship God, understand His Word, live like His Son, share His love with friends and others, and grow into life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
Children are very important; they matter to God and to our Church community. We have a duty towards them to bring them the Good News of the Bible, help them integrate it into their everyday lives, and to help them enter into a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a process, not just an event. By gradually and intentionally exposing children to the truths of the Bible, we offer the Holy Spirit the opportunity to work in their hearts to draw them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
All children have tremendous spiritual potential right from birth, and have an innate capacity to worship God. We begin developing this capacity even while they're still in the nursery. We make opportunities for children to worship both with their families and with their peers. We teach them the fundamentals of participation in worship so that they can join fully with our church community, rather than be mere spectators.
All children need to be accepted and nurtured. But each child carries a distinctive set of cultural, cognitive, physical, spiritual, developmental and emotional traits. We seek to meet each of our children at their particular place of need.
The foundation for a child’s understanding of God’s truth is in their own experience, not just verbal explanations. Children respond to leaders who are relational, not just information-givers. We minister to children by building relationships and providing creative and active learning opportunities.
We offer children's programs for all ages every Sunday all year, and on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Check our schedule to find out what's going on right now.
