zao anglican youth
Zao
It's a word in Greek meaning "I live".
It's our name—Zao Anglican Youth Ministry.
And it's what we're about—how do we live lives that have more than what our culture has to offer?
Zao is a community of youth with questions. What can we actually know about God? What is (and isn't) a sin? How should Christians live their lives?
Zao is a community of youth with answers. We discuss these questions and more at our regular programs and events – and welcome friends and visitors to join us as we learn more and more about what it means to truly live.
Zao Anglican Youth is a community dedicated to helping students become stronger disciples of Christ. Life as a disciple of Christ is truly abundant, and it is that life that we seek to have. Through learning, encouraging each other, and serving others, students come to experience what that life looks like, understand how to truly live, and how to follow Christ at school and in every area of their lives.
If you'd like to check out Zao Anglican Youth, our Sunday Night Hangout and occasional fun events are perfect opportunities to visit and see what we are all about. If you want to know more about what it means to live life as a Christian, we have several sessions each week that take us deeper into the Bible and let us get to know Jesus. Check our schedule to find out what's going on right now. Join us in Zao!
weekly programs
Sunday Hang Out - 6.30-8.30pm - Every Sunday evening we meet at someone's place to sit around, play games, snack, and have a generally relaxing evening hanging out.
Wednesday Night - 6.00-8.00pm - Wednesday nights everyone at All Souls' gets together, eats together, sings together, and then splits up into Bible studies. The youth group has a Jr. High and High School group who will be working through different books of the Bible. Bring some food at 6.00, or just come at 6.30 in time to sing and study God's Word.
Fun Events - Check out the calendar to see what fun events are coming up! If you have any suggestions for fun events, e-mail andrew@allsoulsanglicanchurch.org.
